Our Story
I’ve loved pets my whole life. Growing up, my dad constantly brought animals home—birds, dogs, even a goat. The pet I was closest to was Gingi, an orange tabby my sister gave me for my 10th birthday. She was with me through middle school, high school, college, and my first apartment. We grew up together.
One day, Gingi suddenly became lethargic and stopped eating. At the vet, tests revealed she had been silently battling a terminal illness for months. Despite thousands of dollars and many procedures that extended her life by six months, the experience taught me a heartbreaking truth: cats often hide illness until they’re in too much pain to conceal it.
I sought to create something that helps cat owners be more proactive in their cat’s health. PrettyLitter was made to give cat parents a real way to monitor this, along with peace of mind through early detection of potential issues. Our goal is to get your cat care before urgent medical attention is needed, saving you money, stress, and potentially your fur baby’s life.
